Who? Minneapolis' pop-punk quintet Motion City Soundtrack, featuring vocalist/guitarist Justin Pierre, guitarist Joshua Cain, keyboardist Jesse Johnson, bassist Matthew Taylor, and drummer Tony Thaxton, whose 2007 full-length, Even If it Kills Me, demanded a four-star review in the pages of Spin's October issue.

What? The Left Handed Forms of Human Endeavor tour, a 12-date outing featuring Indianapolis indie rock collective Margot & the Nuclear So And So’s and Phoenix, AZ's Dear and the Headlights as the opening acts. The headlining stint will, according to a statement, be the first part of their last string of '08 dates. The swing will kick off Sept. 4 at the MSU Auditorium in East Lansing, MI, and, after jumping across the Eastern half of America from Athens, GA to Allentown, PA, will conclude in Lawrence, KS Sept. 19.

Should I Go? Yes. Motion City Soundtrack's live sets -- as the band prove right here -- are always a spot-on, lively affair. And with Margot & the Nuclear So And So’s (watch live video) and Dear and the Headlights (watch a backstage interview) opening all dates, this tour certainly isn't to be missed.
